INDIA QUALIFIED FOR AFC ASIAN CUP 2023

Indian National Football Team is currently participating in the third and final round of AFC ASIAN CUP Qualifier

India were placed in the Group E of the second round of joint ASIAN CUP an WORLD CUP qualifiers where they finish third behind Qatar and Oman. The Blue Tigers ended their campaign with seven points registering four draws, three losses and one win from their eight matches.

As the result, Indian Football Team is qualified for the third and final round of AFC Qualifier

India is the top ranked team in the group, beating cambodia in the first fixture 2-0, India is expected to qualify for the AFC ASIAN CUP 2023

India qualified for the AFC ASIAN CUP 2023 after Philippines 0-4 lost against Palestine and ended the group stage with only 3 points. India with 6 points in 2 matches confirmed their spot in AFC ASIAN CUP 2023 even before the final group stage match against Hongkong which is scheduled at 14 June 8.30pm IST. 

Blue Tigers are expected to win the last game and finish in the top of the group. As we were the better team in the group in all basis. 

After winning first two match day, India is in strong position to qualify for the AFC ASIAN CUP 2023.

Group winners and best five runners will be moved qualified for AFC ASIAN CUP 2023.

With 6 points in 2 matches and +3 goal difference, India is currently in 3rd position among the six teams in the second place of each group. 

As per the above table stands, India would get qualify with a draw or win in the final match day against Hongkong. Losing the match will push as to do the required math to confirm the qualification. 

Blue Tigers are facing the group leaders HONGKONG at Salt Lake Stadium, Kolkata (8.30 pm IST). Current FIFA ranking of HONGKONG is 147 and INDIA is 106. Being the better team in ranking and with recent developments in the Indian Football, Indian National Football Team is expected to win the match and complete the group with 100 percent record. 

Having eliminated in group stage in last version of the AFC ASIAN CUP, Blue Tigers are expected to qualify for the knock out stages with the recent form.
